E320 limp home mode

Well gents, the 211 has thrown a wobbler. What I thought was a transmission problem looks to be something else.

Connected the i980 up tonight and got 10 engine related DTCs. None of these are in the scanner's database so your help would be greatly appreciated in trying to pin down the problem.

Hi normally turbo actuator at fault on om642 v6 engine gives jerking symptoms when hot or under load, we see all the time in our work shop.

Speaking to Phil @Welwyn Merx, he thinks it may be a blocked cat. So, car is heading down there for a Star sesh tomorrow. Keep fingers crossed.

I believe you can buy/replace the actuator but not from MB

The advice I had was, if the actuator is failing then the turbo mechanicals won't be far behind...

For £245 it's not really worth bothering though!

Anyway, one check to do tonight to see if it is cat-related before the car goes down to Welwyn yet again...

New Stock is around £1200...
