E55 W210 differential ratio ??

Hello,

Does anybody know for sure what diff ratio there is supposed to be on a 1999 E55 ??

Im having problem with my gearbox and im
suspecting the diff since my ratio is 2.65 and I haven’t found ANY E55 W210 with that ratio.

Does anybody know?

Its located in europe if that verision is different from American.

Aren't they programmed into ECU, for that you need someone far more able in that department than me because I thought it would through up fault and not go.
2.65 standard and MB did a 2.82-1 conversion

The AMG E55 engines use the 2.82:1 differential. The 2.65:1 ratio is used on the 500 models. Same goes for the S/CL range of that period.
