Hi all, have 2002 E320 CDI with dash showing "electrical consumers switched off" this morning. Battery was showing GOOD on a Kwik fit free check done last week. Could it be something draining the battery overnight ? alarm was left off in garage. Any possibilities or suggestions would be welcome. Regards.

Comand fault (won't shut down) is very common... measure parasitic drain so you know you if it is culprit, not wrong voltage signal or insufficient charge etc.

I would also check the output of the alternator.
