Engine Management Light Problem

I just bought myself a 2002 CLK (W208) picked it up yesterday didn't come with a guarantee , overall for £1200 wasn't a bad buy body in good nick radio needed a new fuse .
All was going well but today the EML has come on but the display says 'No Malfunction' and the car is still running great any ideas ?
