Euro 4 - or not?

How can I tell if my car is a Euro 4 spec? It seems to have been registered somewhere in the middle of the change. The log book say 188g/km emissions. Anyone got a same age 220 auto with a different/lower figure ?
Or know the ins and out of Euro 4 ?
Useful to know if I sell the car inthe future
