Malcolm, don't worry, mod done, all sorted.

I had the wires soldered to the board by a computer repair specialist, cost £20. Unless you are a virtuoso with a soldering iron this is NOT a DIY proposition.

I can't believe how good the Audio 20 sounds in my old CLS. Result.
