Fixing head gasket on Mercedes 190E

hI,

I have decided to try and fix the head gasket on my Mercedes 190e, 1.8, 1992.

Does anyone know of a 'fix it' guide to doing this i can download?
Or tell me how do it and tools needed?

Or am i taking on a bit too much for someone with limited mechanical experience?

Get your self a copy of the Haynes book of lies it will provide guidance on this job, and you will have a copy for future reference.

If you have never done any engine work before get some qualified assistance to help you avoid some of the pitfalls that will be inevitable.

Take great care to follow the correct proceedure if the cam is going to be removed from the head, it might snap if you do not follow the proceedure to the letter.

If you feel good about having a go at it do so and enjoy the savings in wage bills down the pub.
