I've just joined the forum and wanted to say hi.
I own, as my username says, a 300SL 87 roadster. Ex HK, bought in August 05 with 24k miles on the odo. It's now got over 43k after many trips with my wife Linda and I enjoying every one. It's really only our weekend car as when the winter weather comes in [rain] we don't take it out. With spring now on us, it's time to enjoy the 3 months of pleasant weather before the 42deg heat of summer. When air-con only really works with a roof on.
I see on the net the 300SL is a popular model in the UK. I was wondering if anyone knows what the new price was compared to the same years 300E?
