Ok, looks like I might be able to get cluster out myself but does anyone know if once I get it out, can I split it to remove the clear lästig front? I know in some old cars they are sealed....
Cover the clock with tape to make it dark , the spider will then choose to die rather than live in eternal soul sucking darkness . If it has lived a decent life it will then ascend to the light
Or wait till the spider is on just the correct bit of the dial and floor the throttle to splat the little bug(ger) if you don't kill the spider you'll probably write off the car and kill yourself by spinning into a ditch in a ball of fire and twisted metal.
I removed some of the trim when removing my steering wheel. It just clips off but you do need to take care, a plastic trim removal tool is very handy for this.
If it so much of a problem cut you own hole in the back or side , remove spider with vacuum cleaner with scaled down pipe to get inside suck him out Tape the hole up after ..
What goes in must come out right - id take the clocks out just to see if there is a little bit of the housing that has broken away or a rubber that holds a wire in place just popped out if so its time to play that old game where you had to get the ball through the maze that was in a sealed unit only swapping the ball for a spider and then making the instrument cluster spider proof (y)
