3 weeks ago my c250 would not start. Took it to a local garage (non merc specialist) and they spent a week unable to fix it. Rang merc. manchester who wanted £90 + vat per hour to even look at it. Thought that could turn out expensive.
Anyway took it to Cemetry Road Motors, Sheffield (merc and other prestige specialist) and they found a major ECU fault. Initially said i needed a new one (approx £650 + vat) but they managed to fix my original ECU and install a new battery for around £200 all in.
They are excellent.
Would recommend them.
