Hi

I posted yesterday about changing my headlamp. I changed it but it still doesn't work.

On Wednesday I was driving home when we had that heavy rain. On the way back my driver headlamp blew (xenon lamp) then 10 minutes later i got a message to say front indicator out. This was strange as all the indicators are still working but occasionally the arrow on the instrument cluster clicks and goes fast then the message appears while indicating.

When I took the headlight out to change the lamp I noticed that the cover was missing and that there was water inside (not much but there shouldn't be any). So i left the headlight in the sun to dry out and just tried plugging it back in to see if it works and there is no change.

The messages I'm getting on the dash are
front right indicator
front right headlamp
Intell. light system inoperative

So I'm thinking its either the ballast on the underside of the light or the SAM unit? The LED side light and the daytime running lights still works.

Car is a facelift 2011 w204

Any advice on what to do next?

Thanks
Chris
