Quick hello from me. I'm Alex, 36 and live in Surrey.

Up until my early 30s I was a big hot hatch fan, I still own a Twingo 133 and Megane 225. Then about three years ago, I fancied something with a big engine, plenty of comfort and lots of power.

So despite looking at the V10 BMW M5/M6 I ended up with a Merc CLS63. In fact it was a friend's father in law's car, a 2007 with 17k on the clock. I couldn't pass that up.

Since then, I replaced my daily car (Saab 9-3) with a 2003 Merc E320 CDI. Think that's about it.

Thanks for the warm welcome. Yeah the CLS isn't my day to day car, it's actually SORN at the moment especially for the winter.

My E-Class is my day to day, family car. I do about a thousand miles per month just on the motorway so it's a perfect cruiser.
