That throttle body doesn't sound too healthy.

How was the wiring?

This arrived in the post today

Only painful part in fitting looks like getting access to the knock sensors

Just cut the loom where the connectors go into the knock sensor wire and solder/heatshrink.

For purposes of testing you won't need knock sensors.
If the car runs with the new loom then you know the problem was that and can then look into reconnecting the wiring. If not there's no point.

So.......

At the moment car is starting up ok and not misfiring or bad throttle body issue

But

Getting fault code P2003 secondary air injection fault

Possible I've upset the vacuum line to it or relay issue ?

ABS light on but only getting fault code C1540 and C1540-008 component B24/15 Rotary speed and lateral sensor

Is it a possible drive to adapt to get ABS light to go out?

But guess could be wheel speed sensor which my icarsoft won't deal with

New loom not fitted yet......

ABS may reset after the car gets to about 8km/h as it recalibrates itself.

Check the actuation valves at the front of the engine, they have the Vac lines going to them from the changeover valve on the back left valve cover. (not the divert air one just below it). Its easy to break the brittle plastic barbs off them..... Secondary air can be coded out if its a pain.

Todays Work

Checked vac lines for secondary air , replaced some and make good fitting on vac pump

Took car for a 10 minute drive , ABS light did not go out

Checked codes after drive secondary air fault still present but no light on dash

Re started car and then....... intermittent spikes of revs without touching throttle pedal

Then ESP fault and misfiring again

P202E C1041 P2042

Plug code reader in i notice my moisture trap behind passenger seat had gone over dumping sticky fluid all under passenger seat

Fluid mopped up but notice it has gone down air vent and under carpet all way to front of the seat

Whats under the seat that could be affected

Codes cleared and i fitted one of my spare throttle pedals

Ran ok for 5 mins

Do you have any of those codes from a MB star machine?
What is giving you those codes?

Nothing under either seat that would give running problems, seat controllers etc live under there.

What is this water leak you have?

Sorry to hear Stuart, have you taken the car to a garage? Be good to hear of the outcome.
