Help sourcing a part

So my 2005 SL55 blew up whilst stationary at traffic lights, turned out tye connector hose for the ABC blew, oil everywhere. My garage is having a tough time finding the part A2309975982, can anyone help?

If you search that part number on eBay it comes up as the correct part (from Germany) . Why don't you just ring MB for the price (MB Grangemouth do a forum discount and deliver )

All the ones on eBay are used and tried MB in local area and they tried Germany who said no parts available until at least March. Struggling to think of my baby in a coma until then

I'm guessing the rubber section self destructed? If so take the old part to an hydraulic engineering shop - they should be easily able to repair it.

Thanks Wighty, LostKiwi and Westheath. Have send Pirtek an enquiry, see what they get back with.
Hoping I dont have to wait until March for Benz to pull their fingers out

I go to the trade counter with what needs repairing and discuss what options there are.
But then Pirtek are on the same industrial estate as me so they're very handy.

No idea where you are but the company is nationwide UK,
as a refusal via email can be turned into a simple over the counter repair.

One of my colleagues had a Lamborghini Gallardo that burst one of its gearbox hydraulic pipes. It was one of six and only available as a complete set from Lamborghini for a bargain C.£4,000 + vat. I took them to a local plant hire repair company who replicated all six for £350. A little lateral thinking can be very cost effective.
