Just trying to navigate abit around web page. Im thinking of buying a diagnostics tool as my b class is out of warrenty iv looked on face book page but it doesnt seem to have much general discussions going on

Hi and welcome.
The usual choice for diagnostic tools is the iCarsoft i980 or more functional iCarsoft MB-II (or its replacement the V2).
If you can run to it STAR clones can be had for about £400 or so and that gives dealer level diags.
If you're on a really tight budget you could possibly look at Carly for Android with their own adapter but you'll be a guinea pig as I don't know anyone who has tried it.
