Please forgive me but this is NOT an ad but a genuine pleae for advice.

I need to sell (not trade) a very high spec, low low mileage A160 Elegance with auto transmission.  I would like to get a fair price for my Moth-in Law(car belonged to my Father-in Law who is now at his final pit stop in the sky !) but do not know the mercedes marque and would appreciate advice on what might be considered a realistic price range to parle around.

January 1999/S, One owner with genuine 3127 miles in metallic Jungle Green and Merc service history.  The car has been garaged all its life and is literally in 'as new' showroom condition.  In addition to the normal Elegance spec the vehicle has full 'petrol' leather interior, electric louvered sun rood, folding mirrors, 5 speed auto box, cruise control, merc tailored carpet
mats, heated seats and Thatcham alarm.  The dealer fitted stereo is a 160w Sony. Cost new  GBP 20450.

I live in Warwickshire in the UK.

I would be most grateful if some kind person could help me on realistic pricing (and the best way of selling)

Thanks in advance

Highly speced A160 Elegance

I bought a copy of the local Autotrader and added a bit to their top whack price.  When no-one called I reduced the price until I got the 'sweet spot' and the phone never stopped ringing.

I suppose the less you want the money, the longer you can hold out.
