The mini fan under the dash should help.

Cheers i've wired a little fan under there and that seems to be doing the job

Solder starts melting at around 188'f or 86'c

Don't think thats right.
Normal electrical solder melts around 180 degrees C (370F)

Thank goodness for that, you had me worried about the soldered hot water pipes around the house for a moment there
