Such a nice looking car. I bet they a lovely to take on a long drive with the roof down.

Ive mainly used it on long drives & MB meets in the years I've had it, it is totally rust free as far as I can tell and I dont think its ever been used on winter roads, I certainly havnt.
Its totally original paint and hood .
The hood is faded now and has some wear on it but it doesnt leak so leave it alone.
I had the bumpers resprayed 3 years ago due to minor scuffing.
It will be visiting MBS Weds week to have pressure switch replaced on the a/c and to have the front wheelbearings adjusted.
MBS has maintained it since Ive had it as dont trust main dealer or anyone else.
A 260 mile round trip for me.

Just dug the build sheet out, its 722.3 box.
The radio was an extra lol
I have all the associated bits it came with like wind deflector, original unused tool kit and the original white back ground warning triangle.

Yeah, that makes sense. That makes it a 4 speed as noted above. The 722.2 was a 3 speed.

The durability of the box is due to over engineering and hydraulics I feel. There are things that need replacing on them but mostly if the oil is replaced they seldom ever go wrong at all through 300k.

Ive got lots of info on

And enjoyed with space for three others!
If my neighbour ever decides to move his on, I'll be camping on his doorstep.
At the moment he's got abs hiccups, and of course my MB 2 isn't any help.

It was on it when bought it 13 years ago, I have the original no on retention.
The car came from Brighton, the previous owner put the derry plate on to disguise its age.
It confuses ANPR sometimes but its a totally legal plate.
