I think I know the answer too my question already and the answer is it needs a new bulbstrip. But the question is:

"I have a W245 with indicators in the mirror back the N/S (UK version) is bright as cluck and the O/S is dim as cluck now is that so it doesnt glare on coming or is the LED strip going tits - Only noticed when a went to that finger lickin good place the other night (keep it clean) cam out to unlock care and though it was completely out"

TIA

You could try swapping from side to side & see if the fault moves to the other side of the car
