Iphone 8 Bluetooth problems

Hi All, update - I got a new IPhone from Apple late November, same problem. However, I had a couple of updates to IOS over Christmas and now running IOS 11.2.1 - problems all fixed!! Including Bluetooth to my Mercedes me adaptor. Thanks Apple !!

iOS 12 upgrade seems to have fixed this for me on iPhone 8 Plus and W212 (2010 model year).

all version since iOS7 have had BT issues in the first two releases. Quite surprised you believe iOS 12 helped as it should have brought in more BT issues (as usual). Apple refuse to follow the global Bluetooth standards and write rubbish

iOS 12.1 should be out by 24 oct (they have already got through to iOS 12.1 beta 9) and even then 12.1 will be released with a known and as yet unfix charging fault

I can only tell you that the issues stopped at the same time as I updated my 8 Plus to iOS 12, and that nothing else has changed or been updated. I've not tried on any other device.

Apple are notorious for being poor at support for open standards such as Bluetooth.
