Hi everyone,
My drivers side leather seat is starting to crack. Is there anything that can be done to fix/stop or prevent this? Please see photo.

Many thanks Dean

Is that leather or Artico Dean?
Might be my eyes but that looks from the picture like it’s completely splitting, rather than a light cracking. With that you could use Meguairs or Gliptone to nourish the area and stop it getting worse. With Artico it won’t react the same way

How old is the car? if its out of warranty, do you have full Mercedes service history, if so they may consider a goodwill repair if you ask nicely. there not all bad

Hi chaps, the car is 9 years old and In great condition the seats are perfect apart from this split. Iv seen some online repair kits are they worth a look? I'm guessing it's artico.thanks

I’m also thinking Artico
I guess it depends how good a job you want done. The repair kits generally work by putting a patch inside and gluing then filling the hole, which would be ‘ok’
If you want something which is less conspicuous then you’ll need the professionals like

It's a shame they don't make it like MB-TEX from days of yore. That stuff was practically indestructible.
