I'd like to know what other vehicles the buyer owns, this was probably an investment piece rather than a £56k 'dream purchase' for driving...

The money/cost is possibly less relevant than the intended end use?
Some of us own dream cars be they £5k or £50k in value isn't it the owners perceived value that matters here?

Interesting story....

Prices can change, I paid £24 for my CL some 7 years ago, its still worth £14k as it has every extra and only 72k miles. Some models go up and others down, one never knows.

Oh I dunno, I suspect some owners would give them away! Look for the bouncy ones!

best thing about that car is the colour. it really suits that bright red, regardless of what issues the colour may or may not have on a daily driver.

id say the original owner had too much money to spare, otherwise why not get spare keys made or the locks changed when they lost the original keys? must be cheaper than another car!
