Jazzing up wifes c-class

Our c-class has just passed it's mot for the 4th year on the trot without spending any money to get it through.I decided today to tart it up a bit.It is a R plate w202 elegance in silver and in fab nick.My first thought was some AMG replicas.Would 16 or 17 inch look better? or can anybody give me some pointers in the right direction with wheel/tyre sizes and combinations.Would I need to lower the suspension?.I don't want it looking too naff or Ali G but just a little more classy than it already is.

First thing what does the management have to say?
I wouldn't put very large rims on or the ride comfort will be compromised and you may well feel the effects....

Da management has given me a free rein!! I understand about the ride compramise but feel the 15s on the car look a bit weedy.

You really need to decide the look you want. There is a thread of photos of wheels on the forum, find one you like and go for it. Just becareful that you get wheels specific for MB's as they need to be 'hubcentric' - they centre on the hub not with the bolts.

I wouldn't go past 17's. My 201 has them. Ride will be harsher but they'll look good - go for staggered set up - wider rims at rear.

Go over to www.club202.com and look at some of the many threads with member's car pictures. You will see everything from mild 16 in wheels to lots of 18-20 inch wheels. That should give you lots of ideas for what you do, and do not, want to do
