You could take the easy route like a 210...
They have a switch on the dash for headlight wash that just operates a pair of high pressure jets of water via a separate pump and reservoir....

Yeah I could do that actually, I had been looking around on ebay for switches from a 210, so I'm thinking if I use the switch from a W210, find a centre console for my W202 with space for said switch, then I could get a headlamp wash wipe relay and socket, and wire it up so it's on a separate switch but still OEM.

I'd just need the part number for the relay required... And from what I know the W210 loom may still be available for switch relay etc...?

It would be easy to make your own loom.
Take a feed from the headlight and use that via the switch to control the relay. This ensures it will only operate when the lights are on.
Take a switched 13v feed to the relay (you can equally use a permanent 12v if you want) and feed that to one side of the relay and the pump the other side. Needs about 3 wires and an earth.

Ah ok, yeah that should be do-able! Just got home from my squeeze's place so gonna have a look in the engine bay and see where I can tap into the headlight wiring.

Just thinking, I can't use the Wiper mechanisms with this can I?

I'm gonna have a look at the headlight wiper loom and see what the deal is with that. If the loom gives the wiper motors permanent power and switches on only when instructed then I could use the switch for that too... Possibly....

That would be super Andy!

No luck yet, which is not in the least surprising, given the state of my main parts stash.
I'll check stash #2 tomorrow, aka the S123.

Was also looking for a spare screen wash pump, I didn't find that either!

Thanks Harry but no hurry.

Weirdly, it failed on the drive home from the MOT! (Which was done in Leytonstone, not Salisbury).
