You might try the key held very close to the rear screen, where the actual antenna is - worth a try.

Please do try this though^^^, it may help us to help you.

Thank u for the heads up. If I take it to a tv/electrical repair place, is there any chance they can copy a key for themselves discreetly?

Not unless the are in possession of expensive programming equipment, no chance of that happening I think. Be sure to use someone reputable and competent… can you start the car ok?

Lock it with the key blade and fix one key at a time, that way if the can't fix the first key, don’t have the second one done , otherwise you might not be able to start the car.

Edit; When the car is locked with the key blade then the alarm is NOT armed

I do not think that any TV service place will be able to check these keys, it can take a long time to work them out and find your way around them. A lot of damage can be done in seconds as well

Did you try as Alex suggested?

You have been offered numerous suggestions but keep coming back with 'new' information... Might be better just to let MB diagnose and resolve the problem for you.

I agree 100% now with you Peter, very hard to get any feedback from anything asked

Dec there is no white/blue light when buttons r pressedMalcolm, I put brand new batteries in the key thinking that might have been the problem but it wasn't

Keep up lads, it’s already been established that the remote is faulty.

I have tried everything u all have told me as I appreciate all ur help. I took it back to the tints shop and said they might have accidentally spilt liquid in fuse amp? Whatever that means.
I'm only giving information as things happen not bit by bit. I even tried using the remotes whilst the windows were open and it still didn't work. I don't actually think its the remote. Can't be a coincidence that both remotes stopped working on the same day at the same time, right?
I'm taking it to be diagnosed. Big thanks and hugs to each and everyone of u who has tried to help me, much appreciated!!! Thank u guys!! Xx
