Do we all change our own Key Fob batteries? Or go to the dealer?

My butler, Harmsworth does mine.
If he’s visiting his brother, I do it myself....:p:D

My car only goes to a main dealer if it really really has to ..... they'd certainly not be asked to change a fob battery.

Righteo, didn't want to break the key fob but I have seen the you tube vids which make it seem rather easy...

I get my batteries from the dealer so I get them to fit them whilst I'm there.
Silly really as I expect they are much cheaper elsewhere.

I always replace ours, myself unless the dealer offers ( offer being for nowt ). Normal MB dealership price is around £10 each so buying a proper Duracell one for less than a £1 makes sense to me.

MB-Poole charge £7 20 inc VAT for two batteries fitted in a Keyless go chrome key. They use Duracell too.

I do my own, except in the service schedule there is a time when they’re changed. Since my current car is on a service plan that will be done as part of it....

Well that is not too bad as it cost me a fiver for two bloomin' batteries from the supermarket (had no idea how much power was left in it so panic bought!).... But both changed now and the car is happy.

For some reason, my chrome key has two batteries but the older spare black plastic key only has one:confused:
Your car and keyless go system is a lot different and more modern than mine though.

Mine has one battery too....^ in answer to above what supermarket batteries did you buy?
We’ve found a huge difference unless you buy the Panasonic or Duracell ones - cheapos last sometimes only a few weeks! (I bought some from the pound shop for a Galaxy I had and they wouldn’t last more than a few hours)
