Lambda Sensor Removal

Hi everyone i wonder if someone can tell me whats the best way of removing the lambda sensor as ive had a look and its well on there so my question is any suggestion on how to free it and am i right in saying its anti clockwise to undo it
p.s has anyone been told there esp module needs replacing esp fault keeps appearing on my car and all the the simple things have been done ie brake light switch

Easy to remove when cold using a ring spanner (ideal is one of the ratchet ring spanners with the bendy-end(!) as per Halfords). Extend the spanner with a box spanner or piece of pipe for leverage if needed and to get your hand away from the knuckle scraping area.

Don't try mole grips etc as the angle is wrong and you will round the flats.

Anticlockwise as any bolt and thread the wiring through the ring first (or buy a socket with a groove in it - again Halfords but you might never use it again!).

The new sensor will have high temp grease already on the thread under the plastic sleeve - don't accidentally wipe it off!.
