yes matey any help would be appreciated
This is probably the easiest job you could imagine. Simply unplug the old sensor and use a ring spanner to unscrew it from the exhaust. But remember to use a ring spanner and not an open ended or even worse an adjustable spanner as these sensors become very tight with the heat they have to endure.

There are several versions, and i dont have access to wis at the mo, im at home. The only thing I can say is follow the cable and then disconnect it. You may have to take some of the interior fittings out to get to it (carpets etc). Do you have the new sensor? and how long is the cable?

Yes I can see where you're going with that, I'm waiting for the sensor to be delivered today (hopefully) so I'll check.

Do you know if it is possible to cut and rejoin the wires?

cheers.

Many people and garages cut the wires and crimp, it seems to be a standard practice
