Lancaster insurance - 129 SL

Got the SL500 insured with them for £133. 1500 miles (car hasn't done half that in 4 years). Good price.

Did try Chris Knott but they couldn't do it to include taking it to work. Nice chap though.

Peter Best Insurance is the cheapest for me by far. 5000 miles per annum, wife as a named driver. £150. It's a base model w124 estate but I do live in a rough part of North London.

We use Lancaster for the wife's coupé £147 and change, but they were less than competitive for the SL, went with Lloyd's bank £170 ish they gave glass cover with only £75 excess, no brainer with a pano roof.

i use Lancaster for my w124 1988 and 5k miles its £140 a year so pretty cheap

My SL320 is insured with Lancaster and was very reasonable, they turned out to a total shower of shi7e when I needed to use them for a no fault claim. I won't be renewing with them

Insurance due in a few weeks. Renewal with RSA invited at £495.00. Lancasters quite was £2006.00 !
