Sorry if this is the wrong place, but I’m anticipating...
So I put some long 50mm plastic pipes in the car one end resting on the passenger side dash, now I’ve scratched the leather surface and it’s raised where the pipes moved about.
Any ideas?
Black soft satin leather, marks very easily.
Of course a rag pad would have been sensible in hindsight!

Can you put an image up please.

I did similar with a CD rack. Used a small wallpaper seam roller and hair dryer to re-form it, gently bentley stylee.

Will do, when I drag myself out and brave the weather...

Any suggestions, the oily at the garage currently making a mess of my van, reckons a specialist upholsterer could make it right?
I’m having a bad week, this week!

2005 CL500.
Live and learn, oh well.
That could be polished out by a good detailer.

Yes - a specialist upholsterer should be able to sort that fairly easily.

I had a mobile guy do a repair on my leather seat, £85 all in and done in one hour. Looks like new now.
