letting in water

just sold my 190 25d had it for 5 years hardly a problem went and bought a c250 sport lot more power nice to drive one problem when it rains lets in water in passenger side front well took it to jet wash this morning soaked inside again checked door seals ok anybody help or had this problem

it might be round your windscreen seal or that area in front of it above where your footwell is.

dry your car off, and when you get chance. use a hose and gently apply water to one area and see if that creates the probelm.

have a look at that area under the bonnet. If it isnt there at least it writes that option off.

and it turned out to be blocked drain pipes in the windscreen corners. Have a search.

hi
if it has a sun roof check the drain pipe as it runs down the left hand windscreen trim to the footwell and goes through the body to the outside

Blocked drain holes under the bonnet allow water to get in thorugh the heater. Almost all cars can suffer from this. Open the bonnet and clear out all the leaves.

thanks for your help no sun roof but will have a look at the pipes in the windscreen corners

wATCH YOUR BLOWER

Common problem can short out the blower control to the fan - dry everything really carefully and keep your fingers crossed -- seems a common merc design floor!
