Limited RPM HELP!!!!

Hi i have a problem with my merc c200 w202 manual 1999 s reg with either in neutral or while driving its limited to about 3500rpm or 4000rpm once reaching either one its starts missing kind of, and while driving with throttle fully depressed it starts to coughing not picking up speed while if the throttle is lightly pressed it picks up speed perfect, recently replaced maf and coil packs apart from that its perfect

Suspect the MAS. Meter Pin 5 WRT Gnd. Expect ~2v at idle rising to ~4.8V at full revs.
My guess says you don't see more than 3v at full chat.
