Lincolnshire Indy?

We've recently moved to the Grantham area and I am trying to find a reliable indy to do repairs and servicing on my 211 - anybody got any recommendations?

Welcome to the area, not Lincolnshire but I used MB Centre in Nottingham, just near the racecourse so £3 for the parkland ride into the center of Nottingham and make a day out when you need anything done.
They do a collect and return but I'm not sure if they would come out as far as Grantham, worth a call to ask though.

I can recommend Alex Crow in Stowmarket Suffolk for quality service ( I know it's a drive for you ) . I happily travel over an hour to his garage .

Make sure they aren’t related to Prestige Bedford, who I’d avoid like a tunnel of plague-infested zombie rats wearing clown masks carrying used hypodermic needles, in Wolverhampton.

Thanks - I'll be sure to ask about that. Nottingham is around 35 miles from us and some of the drive is painful, to say the least. Oakham is around 25 miles away and much easier to get to.

Ah that makes you a little south of Grantham then I guess, and yes not the best route over the A52, takes me 40 minutes to get to MB centre from Elston in morning traffic, not bad but not great, just handy for me as we have one of our offices in Nottingham so I can work there for a day.

I've heard of Rutland Prestige but no experience of their work, IIRC they're more a general garage than a specialist if it's the same place I'm thinking of from 15 years ago when I lived in Oakham?
Worth going them a call and getting a feel for their work

V6 - yes, a bit South-East of Grantham. That A52 is a real bugbear at times, though sometimes its use is unavoidable.
What's 'work'? I'll give Rutland Prestige a call on Monday and see what they have to say.
