Apologies if this has been discussed before.
The fuse/relay boxes in the engine compartment are obvious but what I cannot find is the one in the car supposed to be near the glove box. This contains the fuse for the cigarette lighter under the Command Centre. I want to charge my phone from it but it appears to be dead.
Does anybody know where this fuse box is? Photos would be good. It may be hidden behind something but don't want to start taking things apart until I know what I am looking for.
Thanks for helping.
Please advise if this has been gone over before.

Well, there you go. No, it is not under the back seat. I now know where it is and it is in the location indicated. You just have to have the courage and some plastic pry tools, bought on eBay, to prize the panel off. I am always afraid of breaking things but the panel is quite strong even if firmly held. The problem was not the fuse, which was OK. The reason why the USB charger would not work was the lighter unit was broken. When I got the whole thing out of the car and found the broken off part I was able to solder a small nut onto the terminal and charger works fine. I now await some T5 lamps - 12 volt, 1 watt - as the lamp had blown; the filament looked intact but there was no connection between the lamp 'pins'. Had the lamp worked I would not have been looking for the fuse.

Thank you. Things are hidden in various places. Quite a lot of stuff under the back seat, which is easy to get out when you have found the hidden clips.
This is my second W220, which I suspect was not looked after during the last five years or so even though low mileage. Don't think the air filter had ever been changed. Getting there. Thanks for help.
