Please help
I have an r reg c200. I've not used for months. I have a smart key but no emergency blade. I need to get into the vehicle so I can sell it. Is there a way without smashing a window

Apply a fused 12v to the starter motor feed and earth, you should then be able to unlock with your smart key. I headlamp bulb used in series with the +V will ensure you dont get major sparks should you connect it badly

Thanks for the swift reply. I can't get in to the boot or the bonnet in order to achieve this.

Sorry. I should add I think the cars battery is probably dead as red alarm light is not flashing

You will just be able to apply a charger lead to the big cable on the starter from under the car, or by taking off the nearside front wheel, no other way or you pull the button up by forcing the top of the door, and using a wire, or even use the wire on the door handle

Wire to starter is probably the best solution but wire to door handle by pulling the door out a little is cleaner!
