Done just over 200 miles in my 2011 E220 CDI Sport. It's the pre-facelift model with 79,000 on the clock.
I came into it on the back of a W216 CL500, which had everything and was such a nice car to drive.
My requirements have changed somewhat, in that I now have a school run to do and the CL500 was doing 17ish mpg. I still needed something with sufficient presence to be able to turn up at a client's house and for it to reflect the right image.
I have to say that the E class is the perfect tool for the job. Now getting 35-40mpg on the school run. It's very comfortable to drive and although it doesn't have all the bells and whistles of the CL, it has sufficient to make it a very pleasant place to be.
I reckon I'll keep it for 3 years or so, by which time it will owe me nothing, given the fuel savings and then change to something in the modern E class Bluetec range.
Happy days.
