Low fuel pressure "HELP"

Hi every1, I have a 2010 E200 sport saloon and the engine management light has been coming on and off quite regularly and the car goes into limp mode, I took it to my mechanic and he put it on the computer and it says there's a fault 'low fuel pressure' we changed the filter and still the same, I've been told that it could be the fuel pump or injectors. Has anyone got any other ideas or advice?

More error codes required I'd say.... There will be more codes for other issues if put on the correct diagnostics which in turn will point you at the culprit

there is a fuel pressure control valve at one end of the fuel rail near the bulk head, and a sensor at the other end.
