Hi everyone
I’m currently in France (I’m from the UK)
After 7 hours of driving my alternator died which turned on all warning lights (abs etc)
then killed battery.
Local garage couldn’t do the job so had to go to mb in France!
Ended up costing £800 to change the alternator!
Since having the job done there seems to be low power and won’t rev above 3000rpm?
Engine light is on!
All other lights have gone off.
Car runs fine slow and idles ok.
Anybody help please as not home till Wednesday to get checked at a garage but it’s driving me crazy
