Does anyone know where i can buy the spark plug cap removal tool for the M113 engine. I can only find US sites at the moment.

Search eBay for 17mm cranked spanner .. Does that fit the bill ?

You would think someone in the UK would sell them. Thanks for the links and the ebay search suggestion. I wonder how important the cranked angle and length of spanner is.

I've found when I've priced MB specific service tools they are very very high - you'd think they were discouraging you from doing your own service or something!

EWK replied last night to say they are setting up something in the UK in November and were interested in what may be popular over here- I did obviously say this tool, it's come up on several forums that folks struggle to obtain them.

Hi,
Never seen the need for the proper tool, I just manipulated a 17mm Spanner to remove the plug caps on both my C43 and my CLS55, never had any issues whatsoever.
