MAF electrical connector

Had a MAF fault so took it off to clean, but now the electrical connector will not go on properly, (will not click into place so it will just slide off with the engine vibration, anyone any ideas W203 cdi

no wasnt sure if i should, used electrical cleaner on the maf itself though

also is there an upside down LOL? as it can be put back in either side up

The silicone seal can swell with some oils (WD40 is terrible).
The connector will only latch one way.

must be a proken electrical connector then, but cant see anything obvious

Pull it out and put up pictures of the 2 sides of the connector and 1 of the maf socket.
