Hi, I have a 2012 313 Sprinter with 152K that I have started to do a gear box oil change, it's a standard box,no pto ID tag 9062610303. Haynes manual and other places on the net stat oil capacity 1.5 or 2 Lts, I drained 2.8Lts of well used oil out and have put 4Lts in and still not upto fill plug,
The fill plug (as per Haynes) is identical to the drain plug, level with the output shaft. There is another plug further forward and lower that is a taper plug. Am I using the wrong fill plug or do I need more oil?
