Hi Everyone,
I've got here in a strange way. For many months we had an F-Pace 2.0d Portfolio on order but never felt that it was right the family. It's a good looking car and drives well, but it's very big and by the sounds of it having a lot of technical teething problems. Although I like to buy British when I can, I don't have time to beta test it for Jaguar at my expense, so I cancelled the order a week ago.
We are lucky to live in the Lincolnshire countryside, but the winter roads can be very slippy. We're looking for a comfortable 4x4 SUV and a touch of class, not a sports car with F1 like handling (we have another car for that).
We considered the usual suspects and although the servicing MB costs are higher on the GLC, the 220d Sports ticked more boxes. So we placed the order yesterday and have a late November delivery date.
I'm hoping to get some good tips for all of you
