According to the BBC report
"The problem affects certain A, B, C, and E-Class models, together with CLA, GLA and GLC vehicles, built between November 2011 and July 2017."
Again, from the report "Mercedes-Benz will contact all customers whose cars may be affected by the airbag problem, and ask them to bring their vehicle in"
my worry with these is the fact they will contact me, so far i have had three calls about my previous Merc and none about my current one from the dealer who did the service on my current one! doesnt give me much hope they have the correct details on file
What concerns me (being a cynical type) is that while the car is in for the airbag mod that they’ll also do the emissions mod to diesel cars. I may have to have a chat about
I do remember seeing a re-call on DVLA web site about two years about air bags. But when I rang my local sealer ship they said my car wasn't effected. Now I see this BBC news and am confused now!
i think there are two, there was one a few years back about air bag manufacturers (the older one) and one about fitments (this new one) from what i can see
