MERCEDES 300CE W124 - NO SPARK! !

    Howdee Everyone.

    Does anyone know what would cause my Mercedes 300ce w124 91 to not spark at all?

    dizzy, battery but I'm assuming it turns over so most likely the distributor, these are a regular service item

    Your Mercedes:
    '93 500SL-32, '01 W210 Estate E240, 04 Smart Roadster Coupe
    Bad coil, bad distributor, bad cap, bad HT lead to distributor.
    If it has ECU controlled ignition bad ECU or bad crank sensor.

    Crank possition sensor .Can you see any movement on the revcounter as you spin it over .Is this the m104 or m103 engine ?. Last time i had this it turned out o be my immobiliser .

    If it were the Immobiliser, d,ont think it would turn over.

    My engine spun over .And i did all i could to get it to start .I purchased an EXL weeks before it refused to start. So i fitted it ,still no start .You name it,and i did it .So now it was time for auto sparks to pay a visit . He found that the immobiliser had packed up . Only started after it was removed . But before the engine would spin over but it would not start .By the way for other users with the EZL .The time as never been better to pick a EZL up as soon as you can , as the price of these items are on the up and up .Your looking at anything up to £400 for this part .
