Mercedes Me Connect - does it actually work ?

Dear all,
The Tom Tom live traffic service I was getting on the Command in my C63 AMG expired in June and on 2 July I telephoned Mercedes Me Connect to register my car and then bought a 3 year Tom Tom renewal of licence for live traffic data which I was told would be sent by Mercedes to the car automatically.
Over 3 weeks later nothing has been received and after several pointless calls to the call centre (in Holland) I have been told that there is "a technical issue" within Mercedes (that it is fully aware of) that they are working on to fix.
Nobody at the call centre has any idea when it might be fixed or is willing to put me in touch with anybody in Stuttgart allegedly working on "the issue".
So I wrote to the legal department - but don't expect to hear anything back.
Is anybody else experiencing this "issue".
I'm driving to the Hungaroring on Friday to watch Mercedes in F1 team. Ironically I will have to drive 1000 miles across Europe without live traffic data because Mercedes can't fix an issue in three weeks preventing it from sending an electronic signal to one of its road cars.
A complete joke.

I can't help on this specific issue but in the past I've taken to Twitter to rant at companies I wish to complain to and you should get a response with an hour or two I'm my experience.

Just make sure to use their hashtag if you do.

It is a joke that they can't sort the tech but you could easily drive there without traffic data, not the worst problem to have!!

Mercedes me is a bit crap I'm finding as an aftermarket adapter, not terribly useful really.....
