Aren't they meant to be an "authorised forum supporter"? Doesn't that mean that the forum is basically recommending them as a company or am I completely wrong here?

It basically means they pay to advertise on the site and hence can sell their services here. I agree though, if I was to use the services of any garage, I would look at forum sponsors first.

Ironically it probably looks stunning to the un-trained eye or from a distance.
However at 12.5K I would be gutted and asking for it to be rectified before handing over any cash.

So how old is the car?

No, I'm not an expert nor have I done bodywork before but I do know when a job isn't 100%

on close inspection it looks a bit like jimmy next doors ford escort rs conversion. i would not dream of doin this to my sl600 , love the lines as is . happy polishin it, hate rain. hate ABC and SBC to ,but cant have everything, so givin this kind of thing a miss savin for the inevitable and swottin ALL/ANY info on both subjects .
