Hi Television,

My ML W164 intermittent parking sensors have finally failed.
Would greatly appreciate instructions to remove / refit front and rear bumpers – codyb_888@yahoo.co.uk

Are there any issues to be aware of regarding bumper removal /refitting?

Thank you.

Can I have the info as well please. I need to check the connections for all my sensors but I'm not sure how to remove the bumpers. I too have a w164.

Email is dowphotography@hotmail.co.uk

Also if someone knows a good way to work out what sensor the actually faulty, that would be grand.

Details sent, not easy to work out, maybe a lollipop stick held in turn over each one will give the answer

Thanks for the email. As for the lollipop, I should say that the parktronic is capital, not working at all, just two red lights.

Hello all. Sorry to be a pain but was wondering if someone could email me the instructions too peter@ippolito.co.uk
By the way a lot of people mentioning that their sensors are faulty therefore wanting to replace them. I had similar problems but found it's the paint bubbling on the front of them (and the corrosion underneath) that makes them go mental. Just scratch off the paint along with all the white powder under it and they start working properly again. Obviously need to touch them with paint once your finished but it's a lot easier and quicker to sort out. :)

Although a bit annoying that I can't edit my previous message to remove the email! Never realised it would time out or wouldn't be possible once someone replies.
