Driving on slight inclines on open road a vibration/noise occasionally develops from the engine, changing throttle position and it disappears. I recently did the big EGR and inlet manifold de-coke/de-flap job hoping this was the cure, but no. Still have vibration occasionally. Nothing blanked off [yet] and flap motor re-connected, so all as it was. Power seems OK and kick down works. I understand a Star test will be recommended, but after the last one, that told me the roof mechanism on my CLK was beyond repair, when it was just a loose position sensor micro switch, I am not convinced.
