ML270 cdi Auto Gearbox Problem

Hi,

I think I have a major issue, which I need advice on what to do OR anyone you can recommend I can take the car to fix, G. Manchester or Lancashire area.

My car broke down earlier today and is stuck on 1st gear, it starts up fine, but turning the engine off and re-starting say after 20 secs doesn't seem to do the car any favours. I ended up having to call out a flat bed to bring the car home.

any ideas would be greatly appreciated

Either a battery failure or electro plate failure, you need to read the codes on STAR to find out for sure. Not overly expensive if it is the electro plate. Around £300.

You have MB Tech Warrington within your area. I couldnt recommend anyone more competent than those guys to help.
