Motorbikes!

Hi,

I know there are a few bikers on here, just wondered if anyone can recommend a good Yamaha forum, or a good general forum for tech stuff on bikes?
I've joined one, but it seems a bit quiet?

Had bikes in the dim and distant past, FS1E, Suzuki GT185, and Kawasaki KE175s (late 70s early 80s) then had a year back with a Peugeot Scooter in 2008/9 (it fell into my lap and was kinda fun but 50cc was so gutless that it was often scary).

I've picked up a Yamaha TW125, currently a non runner due wiring issue. (Starts if 12v applied to starter relay, but not via key/button, so I'm going to start with switches and safety sensors (side stand cut out, neutral sensor etc) ....so I may need to ask when I run out of ideas/talent.

I had a KE 175 back in the day, endless fun clattering around the local quarry ... ZRX owners club is good.

Got to agree with that , just dont get ZRXnige started.

Just had a quick look at the wiring for the TW , it is pretty basic with minimal safety interlocks.#

When you say it starts , does it run or just turns over ?

Yeah, I've got a service manual & wiring diagram. Shame there isn't a location chart too! I've heard the neutral sw relay is tricky to get to.

ZRX..... Kwacker?....(actually forgot about a KX250 A5 we used to do a bit of off roading with, that was pretty powerful at the time. Loads of fun)
